The hotel is located on Taormina beach, around 1 km from the cable car for Taormina and 4 km from Taormina.
Most of the 88 rooms enjoy wonderful sea vistas. Furnishings are rich with vivid colours echoing the warmth of the Ionian gulf, while blue, green and grey soft tones recall the green landscape. Bathrooms are adorned with Sicilian ceramics and bedrooms are decorated with interlaced reed bed heads and a painting by a famous local artist representing ancient fishing boats. They are equipped with direct dial telephone, hairdryer, radio, courtesy set, automatic wake-up call service, safe, heating and air conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV and Internet connection. There are also rooms for disabled guests.
The hotel provides guests with use of a peaceful swimming pool (outdoor/indoor depending on the season) amidst palms and colourful bougainvilleas, which is open from April to October. For water sports lovers, there is the private shingle beach, the Lido Caparena, fully equipped for water skiing, paragliding, diving, water biking and kayaking. The hotel also offers use of the well-equipped and tranquil health club. The private beach is separated from the hotel by a small train underpass.
